十八洞村VLOG｜走进苗绣，感触针尖上的艺术（Step into the Miao embroidery, enjoy the Miao art on the tip of the needle）

【简介】2023年7月26日，复旦大学-中南大学联合国情调研实践团来到了“精准扶贫“的首倡地——湖南湘西土家族苗族自治州花垣县十八洞村。在这里，咱们进入十八洞苗绣村庄复兴演示基地亲手体会苗族刺绣，与苗绣合作社的理事长石顺莲奶奶深化沟通，感触传统苗绣怎么结合现代生活进行立异，去重焕新的生机与生机。

On July 26, 2023, the Fudan University&Central South University (FDU-CSU) United Field Research Group came to Shibadong Village, Huayuan County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan Province. Shibadong Village was the birthplace of "Targeted Poverty Alleviation". Here, we entered the Miao Embroidery Rural Revitalization Demonstration Base to experience Miao embroidery, and had a deep communication with Shi Shunlian, the director of the Miao Embroidery Co-operative, to feel how traditional Miao embroidery can be innovated with modern style, and make it shine with new vitality.

大家好！欢迎来到咱们的节目。咱们是来自复旦大学（上海）和中南大学（长沙）的传媒系学生。

今日是咱们暑期实践的第六天。现在咱们坐落十八洞村。

Hello, everyone! Welcome back to our programme, today is the 6th day of our summer field research. We are the media students that from Fudan University in shanghai and Central South University in Changsha.Today we are now at Shibadong village.

十八洞村坐落湖南省的西部，也便是咱们常说的“湘西”，这里是我国“精准扶贫”首倡地。

This village is located in the western part of Hunan Province, also known as "Xiangxi" in Chinese. China's Shibadong Village，the birthplace of "Targeted Poverty Alleviation", has lifted all families out of poverty.

这里有许多改变可以探究，但是我今日最感兴趣的是“苗绣”。

There are really many changes to explore, however what I am most interested in today is Miao Embroidery

石顺莲是十八洞村苗绣合作社的带头人。她让村里的妇女在家门口致富，还让苗绣成为村子的一张亮丽手刺。

Shi Shunlian is the leader of the Miao Embroidery Co-operative. She not only led the women of the village get rich at home, but also make Miao embroidery became a beautiful card of the village.

她首要给咱们介绍了一幅代表苗族图腾的著作。

First she introduced us to a piece representing Miao totem.

苗绣，被誉为“穿在身上的苗族史诗”。苗绣图画反映出苗族人的前史和世界观，具有祝愿、请求、赞许等不同的涵义。

Miao Embroidery，which is known as the "Miao epic worn on the body"，reflect their history and world view, Patterns have different meanings like blessing, praying, praising, etc.

随后，石奶奶手把手教我怎么刺绣。

Then, Shi Shunlian taught me how to embroider hand by hand.

现在自己上手之后发现这真的是非常精密的活儿，可以幻想绣出这么大一幅著作需求支付多少的尽力。

when I've try my hand, I realize that it's really a very delicate work, and I couldn't imagine how much effort it have taken to make such big artwork.

之后我又在绣坊里发现了许多风趣的产品。比方电脑包、熊猫挂件、短袖等等。石顺莲介绍说，未来她期望苗绣可以走向世界。

After that I found many interesting products, like computer bags, panda pendants, short sleeves.

Shi Shunlian explained that she hopes Miao embroidery will enter the world in the future.

传统苗绣加上现代产品，形成了独具匠心的款式风格，再经过这些手艺人倾泻情感和一针一线的尽力，苗绣勃发出新的生机。

Traditional Miao embroidery, together with modern products, has formed a distinctive style. It's shining with new vitality, through the efforts of these craftsmen who have devoted themselves to it emotionally .
